Exactly....his own team is quoted in the link (off the record of course) that he didn’t want money going to lawyers. To me the priority here is backwards. If it’s about keeping the fam together....in a healthy way, no amount of money is gonna salvage a failed union. He’s gotta be up to the bigger challenge of working it out

Oh stop, "the money" narrative is a just a distraction. Of course, he was well-informed before filing what the divorce was likely to cost him. I have zero doubt about that.

I'll offer a more likely reason he is reconciling with his wife - which he would never admit publicly. It's that the reporter lady he was fooling around with didn't want him full time. She may have liked the affair but, didn't want more than that. He deluded himself about their prospects and only found out her real stance after he filed. And, he may have not even told the affair lady he was going to file. If so, bad move.

He might be having an early mid-life crisis.

If a marriage is that bad, money should not be an object, as he can always earn enough money to live very comfortably with his skills. Tiger still does as well. .
