Anyone tried this new Cuban restaurant? It was highly recommended, & reviews are mostly 5 stars.

Can they give a "5 Star rating" to a NEW restaurant without establishing itself first?
Note: If its Caribbean food its got to be good!

Villa Pinar Cuban Cafeteria, 13685 S. US 441, Summerfield, FL. 7.1 mile drive from The Villages. 347-8898. Opened February, 2018. On US 27/441 (just south of SE 135th St.), it is about 3000 feet north of the Del Webb Spruce Creek (North) Country Club entrance, in the Midway Centre Plaza, at Suite #2, next to the Nails Salon. Open 8 AM to 6 PM daily, but to 5 PM only Sunday and Monday. Offering authentic Cuban food. They plan to offer Roast Pork Shoulder, Roast Chicken, Chicken, Beef, Ham & Cheese Empanadas, Ham & Chicken Croquettes, Stuffed Potatoes, Spaghetti ($6-9), Cuban Pizza ($7-10), Guava Pastries and more. No bar. Sarah de la Cruz, owner.

There is a review on the Gourmet Club website now LINK. Did not look promising, but... I stopped in anyway. Service is very SLOOOOW. If you don't speak Spanish they don't care too much about your business. I won't be back either.

[Roll With It]

The food is authentic and delicious. The portions are very large, we always have enough to bring home for another meal. Sometimes the service is a little bit slow at peak times, but definitely worth a little bit of a wait!
