We also like Longhorn thought they do have a heavy hand with salt on occasion

Texas roadhouse food is good but wish they could do something about the noise level.

For the veg options are you referring to TR or Longhorns?

In all fairness, there is also a chain that resembles Texas Roadhouse that IS called Logan's Roadhouse. They are in 22 states including Texas and Florida. It is different from Longhorn Steakhouse.

I have eaten at multiple locations in multiple states of Texas Roadhouse and Logans Roadhouse. I have always enjoyed the experience.

I ate at two Longhorn's. One in Tennessee which was okay, and on in Greensboro, NC which I did not enjoy.

As with everything else subjective, YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary.

Funny, I was telling my wife the same thing when we went there and had a good experience including the manager asking as we left how things were. I said to her wonder how long before someone posts “they did not accept my coupon” or “I had terrible service (in the middle of snowbird season)” post.

The founder Kent Taylor struggled to start up the business but eventually found investors and built the first store in Indiana. Three of his first five failed.

He was known for his philanthropy and poker playing with celebrities. Unfortuantely he fell victim to Covid.

If you like the music they play you can check it out on Spotify. It also includes songs from their Artist of the month program.
