Default New havana ??

I've beat Havana up before but I must say 5 of us ate there last night. We tried there new CUBAN menu and was very impressed with the food. They even made a custom order from one of their new specials. Not one complaint.Hope he's on the right track this time. There is another cook working there also. Give them another shot and see. Hope it continues !!

Default good time again

Went to Havana last night with another couple. Had good music, another good meal off the NEW menu and there were quite a few people dancing. Hope they can keep it up. Glad I gave them another chance.

Likewise, swore off of Havanna several months ago after a horrible experience with a prime rib. Gave them a second chance and droppd in for lunch a couple of weeks ago. Their cuban sandwich was as good as I've had. Too close not to try for dinner again based on these comments....

Nice of you folks to give credit where credit is due. Good luck to Havanna in their effort to make a comeback!

I went last night. We had great service by Kevin and I had the Stuffed Yucca which was delicious! My dinner date had the chicken and rice and he loved his as well. The new menu is lovely, I can't wait to try some other dishes.

We are definitely looking forward to giving it a try. I'm a native Miamian and sweetie is of cuban descent, so we love Cuban food. Looking forward to some lechon asado, ropa vieja, yucca, maduros, tostones, and tres leches!

If anyone gets a hankering for some excellent Cuban food and gets down to Orlando, try:

Cuba Libre | Orlando

It's one of our favorites--not quite Little Havana, but close.

Not to hijack the thread but Cappy, for a very inexpensive restaurant serving good cuban and spanish food in Orlando try Cafe Madrid. See trip advisor report on it:
