Default Eye Glasses....where to in/near TV

I need to get a pair of glasses made just for driving and do not need anything fancy....just 100% function.

Suggestions where to go in or around The Villages for least cost.

Zenni.com. You can buy 5 pairs for the price of one in a store.

Walmart is where many of us go. They work with your Medicare Advantage plans too.

I use Hindsight (Pinellas Plaza) for around 10 years, good prices, great service, I have a tricky prescription and they still usually have the glasses done the same day, occasionally the next day.

I don't understand your post. Zenni provides the dimensions, material, and weight for every pair of glasses they sell and they have a huge selection. They also group them in small, medium, and large. They even have an online app to see how the frame will fit your face. Most stores only offer a very limited selection of different size frames, and it is difficult to compare different models because they don't include all the dimensions. Most stores do not make custom frames anymore, so, if they don't have your size, you are out of luck. And, most of their styles only come in one size. You do need to provide Zenni with your prescription, including your pupil distance (PD).

That’s what my wife uses for her prescription sunglasses, good service and big savings.

I've used Goggles4u .com for 20 years, you can get glasses for $30 including single lenses, they also sell varifocals and transitions lenses for a bit more. The prescription is always spot on, I've taken them into optometrists and they've told me the prescription is correct. If you set up an account, don't buy right away, they'll send you offers every single day for things like 70% off everything or two for one offers.

Sorry was not complete. We had a problem measuring the pupil distance. Have to give it another try.

You can go to an optical store that has a special optical device and they will measure your pupil distance for free. I think Sam's Club has one. Your optometrist should also measure it as part of a routine exam. Then, I would verify it with a special ruler. Once you have it, it will most likely never change.

I got two pairs of glasses for $89 at Eyeglass World over by Miller's Ale House off of US 441/27. The price is just for the basics and also needed an eye exam. The place just opened.

There is an eye glass and eye exam provider in Colony Plaza that I went to a few years ago which gave me some good glasses but was a little more pricey.
