Default Dispatch Health sends a nurse practitioner to your home, often same day!!

I'm the primary care provider for my 88 yr old father. Last week he experienced severe fatigue / lethargy, along with some mental confusion & problems speaking. I knew he was dehydrated & suspected he had a UTI (urinary tract infection), so I called his primary care physician & asked if I could bring a urine sample to their office to have it tested; they said I would need to bring him in to see the doctor. I explained to them that he was very weak & couldn't travel in his condition, so they recommended I call Dispatch Health, who would send a nurse to my father's home to evaluate him.

I called Dispatch Health at 9:30AM, and by 2PM the same day two women--one a licensed nurse practitioner and the other an EMT--were at our front door. They drew blood, took a urine sample, and tested them both right there in our home. As expected they said my father was dehydrated, and that he had a UTI. They administered a saline drip to help with dehydration issues, and the LNP prescribed an antibiotic to treat his UTI. Best of all, the entire visit (I think) will be covered by medicare!

Afterwards I googled "DISPATCH HEALTH", and the local agency has 62 five star reviews!

If you or any friends / family members need immediate (obviously none life-threatening) health care & either you can't travel or can't get an appointment to see your primary care physician, I highly recommend Dispatch Health (352) 415-0991. No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer!
