To commemorate her birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP.

One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the lyrics she used:

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cadillacs and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,

Great Lyrics and lady. So true.

I ddin't think she was able to sing as the last I remember she had an operation on her throat, Glad to hear she can sing again, as I always enjoyed her voice.

She was suppose to play Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady" but the producer decided he wanted a bigger name so "Audrey Hepburn" was selected. Audrey was told she would be using her own voice but they decided to dub it with another singer much to her disappointment.

Julie Andrews after being snubbed for My Fair Lady starred in "Mary Poppins" later that year and the rest is history,
