Default Recommendation for Ladies small group beginner golf lessons

A few friends and I want to learn golf. Need some advice about what to look for, who is a good teacher, what to expect to pay, how long do you need before playing a game on a course??
And please answer questions that I don't know enough to ask?
You can rent clubs, right?

Go to Sandra Chester on 301, south of 466. Google her and her web page will come up. Hands down the best for a group go beginner ladies.

I go to Steve Wresh. He's a PGA golf pro and works at Continental Golf Course at 50 Continental Blvd, Wildwood. It's about 5 minutes from Brownwood. His number is 352-267-4707. He is wonderful. He taught me everything I know because I never golfed in my life. I now play a pretty steady game.

We attended the Villages New to Golf School. It was excellent and highly recommend Maria and Wade. There is a coupon if you attended the New to the Villages open house for new residents. You use their clubs at the country club and they will measure you for what size you would need. I recommend Villages Golf School!

Another vote for Sandra.

I am currently taking lessons from her and am learning the correct way to swing.
