This is exactly how the golf courses operated before. Many were closed for about 40 days after Hurricane Erma.

Perhaps its best to have your home flooded?

Really? They should be closed for a while, too many idiots go out and ruin it with golf carts.

They’re not, but that isn’t stopping “some people” who are above things like that.

Really?? I mean really?? Come outside for a moment and observe the amount of cleanup going on around The Villages. Then consider how extensive that would be on the golf courses. And they need vehicles to move all the "blow down" from the courses which should leave ruts in the super saturated turf deep enough to hide a cow in. And what about golfers on the courses the are driving buggies (and often not staying on the paths as instructed). So, hating to answer a question with a question, but is yours a real inquiry or a joke?

Dcurrie...you have got to be kidding. There was a HURRICANE. If you want to know about the course closings....go to the villages website There, you will find a complete listing of course closings ( both championship and Executive) and as they also start opening. You must be VERY new here, shame on you. As someone else said, were you here in 2017 when Irma hit? Find something to do and stop complaining.

If championship golf is unavailable for two weeks will us enhanced members get an extension on the renewal date?
