I know a man who used to teach German/English at various Chinese universities for about ten years. He now lives in the Villages and is retired. This was about twenty or more years ago that he was in China but he has a lot on interesting stuff to say about China.

According to my dictionary it is pronounced Ugenflushens but the middle 6 letters are silent.
