Default Window replacement

New to TV and may want to replace windows with something a bit more contemporary other than the builder's standard. Anyone have any luck with a good window company?

Within the last 3 months I priced replacement windows for my 15 year old designer.

I got about 4 quotes ranging from 4K to 8K. WHITE ALUMINUM came in about 6K.

I've used them in the past for my lanai and I would use them again.

Aln, Did you have your windows replaced? How many windows does your designer have and does the estimate include any sliders? Thanks! Pat

Default Windows with value

I sell windows and doors for a living to new home contractors and remodelers.

I would highly recommend vinyl windows with a DP rating of at least +/- 50 and Low E glass. They are the best for the money and the Low E is a must in Florida. You will notice a difference right away.

Make sure your window supplier can provide the engineering for both the windows and the installation system to assure that they meet the hurricane specs in the building code.
