Default Who installed your engineered hardwood floors?

I am leaning towards engineered hardwood floors to be installed in our home. I would appreciate any info on these floors and who installed them. Thank you.

Floor Shoppe--doesn't mean a thing--the installers who did ours 4 years ago-may not be working there, anymore-best advice who did a recent installation

Honestly its not rocket science-floor installation on a slab is a pussy cat.

I just retired from Shaw and had our Shaw Epic engineered hardwood installed by Roberto Flooring in the Colony Plaza Shopping Center.

Excellent work.

We used Village Flooring (352) 315-8855. Family owned business and they really spend time with you and care about their clients. Very competitive pricing, lots of choices and their installers have been with them for years. This is our second home with engineered hardwood and we are very pleased.

We used Nickel Tile for our engineered hardwood floors. They had a nice selection and we were able to find a product we liked for thousands less than one we liked at another flooring store. I'm not saying it was the same product, just one we liked as well. They installed as scheduled and the installation crew was professional and pleasant. Many months after it was installed one of the transition pieces (going into the bathroom) popped up. They came back right away and corrected it. I will go to them first when and if we decide to have back splash installed in the kitchen.

We had Royal Palm Flooring (352 272-8963) do our entire home in hardwood floors. They did an outstanding job. We also had damage to the hardwood floor in our MBR, and they made several trips to help us solve the problem, so we count on them for just about any interior floor issue that needs help.

We got our floor from Great Lakes Carpet & Tile in Wildwood. The team they sent out was fantastic. Was just moved our lamps and disconnected our cable and such, and the guys took care of all the heavy stuff. They worked hard and got the job done in no time. We would go back there to have the other two guest rooms done as we had our master and walk in done first. Not a fan of carpet.

Cool

For those of you getting hardwood installed, did you replace carpet or tile? If tile, did the installers remove the tile as well?
