This is not a recommendation, it is a WARNING!!!. Please be very cautious when dealing with this contractor. They do NOT back up their products. Here is my story. I ordered their "terra stone" substance for 2 bathroom countertops. It was supposed to be cheaper. Because I signed the contract, (at their insistence, 36 hours after major surgery) I had not read it carefully. My fault - I don't remember signing it, let alone reading it. The terra stone was not cheaper as I expected. They require 95% down to start making the terra stone. Again, my fault I should never have signed that contract when I did. In addition the finished product bore absolutely NO relationship to the sample. I was not allowed to look and approve of the finished product before they put it in. It was simply put in. I was told that this is what I ordered from the sample. It says "some variation might happen in the contract". I have pictures if anyone would like to see them. I contacted the salesperson and complained. He said this is what I ordered, and refused to allow me to contact the owner, said he was "protecting" me. I finally obtained the owners name and placed 2 phone calls, both went unanswered. I complained to the Better Business Bureau, and called again. This time he returned my call. When I explained that my understanding of what the countertops would look like and what I got were very different, he referred me to the contract. When told him we needed to work out a replacement, he told me I could have a replacement, if I paid full price. He would not negotiate from that stance at all. He became very ugly to me over the phone. He was rude, angry and obnoxious. He did not listen to me when I explained the problem. I was stupid throughout this entire process and apparently need to take my lumps, please do not get swindled by this man. I have since ordered replacement countertops from another vendor.

Thanks for the heads up about this company, but you're not the first and you probably won't be the last. Here's a sampling of 5 earlier threads which I believe if you had read beforehand, you would not have signed that contract, in fact you would of probably run from them. Here's a bit of advice which is given every week on this message board. Before hiring a contractor to do anything, even cut your grass, come to TOTV and do a search. You can bet someone has already posted advice good, or bad here on this message board. That's what the 'search' button at the top is for.

While TOTV is an excellent source of information, I would also recommend contacting Seniors v Crime to learn if they have any information regarding a specific vendor. I would also recommend that the OP contact them to report the issue.

For the salesman to "warn" you about contacting the owner' I suspect the salesman had this issue before with a customer. Iam constanly amazed at the lack of professionalism among some business managers and owners.

They are not the most reliable. When my solid surace shower started to stain or mildew, not sure which, they said it needed to be ripped out and redone at $$$$$. Called another solid surface company and they said to clean it with a scrungee and dial soap - came out looking like new, and still does after cleaning.

Sad to hear this as about 5 years ago they did an amazing job installing beautiful granite in the house we just sold. Also was a great price. While our home had some other nice selling features this one stood out!. Our sales girl was wonderful throughout and the workers did an excellent job. Sorry to hear this.
