Looking for recommendations from Village folks who have had their tile and grout cleaned. We removed all builder installed carpet several years ago and went with tile throughout the house. After using a Shark steam cleaner we find that the tile and grout does not get cleaned very well and am now looking for a commercial service to come in and do the whole house. Would love to receive recommendations from satisfied customers not the cleaning companies who would all say they do a great job for a reasonable price.

We recently had our carpets, tile and grout cleaned. I cannot say enough about Eco Power Plus. My tiles and grout were sparkling when they left and my carpet looked like new. They moved every piece of furniture and cleaned areas that were never touched before. Each day I look at the sparkling grout and smile. Don't waste your money on "bargain" companies.

what about tile in showers, will they clean that also?

We used Professional Carpet & Tile, Pat More to clean our tile floors and shower when we moved into our new place in Sanibel. Family run business, worked hard and the results showed. Very happy with their work. He was recommended to us. We didn't use them for our rugs since they were new, but would not hesitate to use them when needed. His number is 352-516-3565. Thanks folks for the recommendation. Scott & Carla Brown were here today as scheduled, on time and cleaned the tile and grout throughout our entire home. They did an outstanding job and left us with floors that look better than when they were installed.We also learned from Scott that the Shark Steam cleaner we've been using has not done a very good job and is ineffective for tile floors.

About how much does it cost to have grout cleaned? (Approx 2000 sq ft)

I used Sir Grout in my house in Connecticut and they made 12 year old tile and grout look like new. I think they have a few locations in FL. And a web site. Check it out.
We are building a home in TV next and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Has anyone had there grout sealed? Just moved into Sanibel and after talking with builder realized the grout is not sealed. When the tile guy came back to fix something on warranty we talked to him about sealing it and he threw out a cost of $600. it's a 2000 sq ft house that is all tile. Not sure if $600 high or low? Any one have any experience with this? He also said what he uses to seal is not what you would get if did yourself.

More or less had our whole house (about 2800 sqft) cleaned and resealed by Pat More @352-516-3565.
House is about five years old an altho it was supposed to be already sealed you could tell the first company did a poor job. I had light tile and grout which had become three shades of gray and was amazed at the BEAUTIFUL job Pat & his wife Shelia did. Looks like a brand new tile flooring. Would highly recommend them, as they did an excellent job in cleaning, resealing and pricing.
So very pleased!
