Default Son Life landscaping

Has anyone used this company for mowing and maintenance? Also, we may get some landscaping done.

Any other companies you would suggest? I searched but many are from years ago.

Thanks and pics are appreciated.

They recently gave me a quote to trim my shrubs on a courtyard villa. It was $470, which is about 5 times as much as I have ever paid. But, it was worth a laugh.

I had them for lawn mowing and weed pulling my beds. The mowing was fine. But they contacted me to tell me they were no longer going to do weed pulling. I found out they hadn’t been doing it for at least a few months. When I asked them they said they only missed one month. I asked some neighbors and it hadn’t been done for a long time. They offered me a $30 credit. I cancelled them.

I have Hannah exteriors for mowing now and they’ve been great. But they don’t pull weeds. Fertigator now puts weed spray down for me but doesn’t pull them.

I’m part time and just have to pull any that come up whenever I’m there.

BP might help if you give location of new home. Son life was very prominent in our village for landscape, but most mow their own lawn because they are so tiny. I have found lawn guys like to bunch their jobs less travel better time

I had someone spraying for weeds and the product they were using ended up damaging surrounding plants. The product is 24D, which I'm told is cheaper than round-up. I never asked before but will not allow that to be applied in the future

2,4D is for broadleaf control, it is safe for most types of grass. It will kill most all flowers and woody plants so you've got to be careful when applying.

Roundup is non discriminate, it kills everything.

If the "Son" in Son Life is a reference to Jesus (implying they follow Christian principles), I wonder if they think that price gouging (based on what I read here) is something Jesus would approve of? Hmm. 🫠😉🤔

LOL, I find it interesting to see enough of these companies using the high faith trade mark not operating under that faiths guiding principles. Tacking signs on someone else’s property (utility poles for example) is another one probably not in the good book.

They were the flavor of the day in our village for awhile but they seemed to have lost some of their luster. I still see their trucks running around like they’re always in a hurry.

We use them for mowing. We pay $75 per month for 4 x week march to October and 2 x week October to march. They have been fine. They missed a regular day but have always shown up the same week. 3 people on my street use them. They did plant a small palm tree for us and the price was ok. We use Deans for pest, weed and fertilizer applications

Son Life is a Christian based company and will work hard for their customers. They are good to the employees and treat them with respect. Many times they hire people who have had problems with addiction in their past to give them an opportunity to support themselves and their family.

But as always, there can be issues. I know the owners would want to be informed of any problems so they can make it right. Please call the office
on any concerns.

Only used them for 6mo. We pay $80 due to corner lot. Also have a neighbor that uses them. Lawn looks good. They do not cut the grass too short. Edging sharp. I have no problem recommending them.

Give Chads Lawn Care a call, they have Alacarte plans that cover what you want, they do weed control, I do not know of any company the PULLS weeds. This is very labor intensive (I know from personal experience), and very rarely works well as pulling weeds still leaves some of the root in place and you get a new weed.
