Default Sherwin Williams Color Consultant......

Ever seen the ad at Sherwin Williams for their Color Consultant and wondered if that would be worth it? Well, I'm here to tell you "YES"! I had the entire interior of my 3/2 Jasmine home painted yesterday and I was paralyzed with fear over the idea of having to pick an entire houseful of colors! So, I bit the bullet and arranged for Donna Gould from Sherwin Williams to come in, spend 90 min with me, and make suggestions for colors that flow from room to room. Best $95 I ever spent, AND....they give you a $50 gift card to Sherwin Williams! Investment Painting took that $50 off my bill. So, the consultation cost me $45 and I am amazed and how well the house turned out!! We had installed crown molding last November and finally, now that there is color on the walls, you can see it. If you need to paint and you are stuck, run...don't walk....to set up your appointment at Sherwin Williams for a color consultation. I promise, you will NOT be sorry.

I've been contemplating doing that, also. Thanks for the recommendation.

Our walls are all white. Did you find it's better to go ahead and do the crown mounding and THEN paint? Or, if you were to do it over, would you paint first?

Do the crown molding first so the painters can cut a straight line where the crown and caulk meet the walls. Len

That's what they told me when I inquired.....crown first. So, we had that done last fall. They know what they're doing!
