Check out Safe and Sound Roofing. They are amazing. I received my insurance estimate quote and Derrick from S&S reviewed it and found a few things that needed to be added to bring it up to code. He also reviews your Insurance to see if I had that coverage too. He is taking care of notifying my insurance. They do all the paper work with the Arcatectual review, permits etc.
Was going to use Batterbee but checked the BBB website and compared the two. S&S has better reviews and less complaints
Check several out on BBB and then you can make an educated decision.

We used David Martin's company and found them very reasonable and very reliable. David really goes out of his way to make you feel he is a trustworthy and capable roofer. His is a family-owned enterprise and is commercially licensed and bonded. If you have an insurance claim, he will work directly with them to get you the fastest monies from the insurer. Their work is impeccable, and they go above and beyond in service, honesty and workmanship. PM me if you want their contact information.

We reroofed in 2022, and I did a lot of rooting through the forum and talking to neighbors looking for recommendations. We used McGinness Roofing (352) 266-9403 and were very happy. Batterbee 352-748-6300 was also a high recco and I called for an estimate, but was somewhat put off by their process; McGinness is much smaller and I talked to the actual owner, got an estimate very quickly, and was always able to reach someone instead of leaving msgs while Batterbee is much larger; I was routed to a sales dept, who sent me a link to drone software that I had to agree to install so they could do the estimate. It felt very impersonal and cookie-cutter, and McGinness had our roof done before the Batterbee estimate was even able to be scheduled. Batterbee might be a good choice if you prefer that approach, but McGinness was great for us. The third choice on my list was
Sack Roofing (352) 430-2773 - all three companies had good recommendations.

Just replaced my roof last month- got 7 quotes - Roof guys not the cheapest - more in the middle of the pack - but definitely the BEST

Really wanted a company that uses latest shingle technology and Roof Guys were the only company that offered that technology and those shingles.

Installed Pinnacle Sun Cool Technology shingles that reflect the suns radiant heat away from the roof for decreased cooling costs and increased efficiency of the home Beautiful colors that were readily approved

Also got solar fans - There were discounts on the price Sales person Michael Mell was outstanding and always available

The install was fantastic- Team was thorough and there to explain every question that I had (Previously I served as general contractor when I designed and built two houses in Maryland) So I had lots of questions

Could not have gotten a better product and install - The roof is beautiful - Thank you Roof Guys

I have had 5 roofs replaced by McGinniss Construction in the past three years. Did my research on quite a few before selecting McGinniss on the first one. After that I just called McGinniss and had them do the rest. Fantastic family company to deal with.

I want to thank everyone who kindly gave me recommendations based on their actual experiences. That’s what I like most about TOTV, fellow Villagers helping each other out. My list of contractors is made based on the recommendations and I will be making phone calls Monday. One thing is for certain, I won’t use any company that wants to give me an estimate based on a drone flyover, a GPS image, or public property records. I will use companies that send a qualified specialist to our home, get up on our roof, and do a comprehensive inspection with me up there standing next to them.
