Default Quartz Countertops

Wifey wants to replace all of our granite counter-tops with quartz, can someone recommend a contractor, business that they worked with and were pleased with the results/price?

Thanks!

I had Home Depot install my quartz. I can't remember the cost, but am happy with quartz. I have never bee a fan of granite countertops. Quartz comes in many colors.

For the best selections, prices, installation and customer service go to MAGMA Granite & Marble. They have 10 manufactures of Quartz, plus some large sizes and slabs so you can see what they look like. The sales people know their stuff and will gladly quote different selections for you. They are right behind Russell Stover Candies on Industrial Drive so you can stop for candy or ice cream too! Magma Granite 352-461-0794

Do you actually hate your granite enough to spend the money for quartz? Just wondering why you don't like granite.

Quartz is supposed to be stronger than granite so I'm surprised yours scratched easily. All solid surfaces will scratch but most quartz typically (not knock-offs made in China) takes some effort to scratch it.

I was wondering the same. There are tales that granite isn't "sanitary". My take on that having had it in four different homes now is that is incorrect and very misleading.

Wow I have had my quartz for at least 10 years and do not have a single scratch. I even cut on my counter top. So sorry you are having this issue.

We got ours from Solid Image in Leesburg. We are very happy with it and the install was flawless.

We have had Kitchen & Bath Studios of Ocala install new countertops for us in the bath as as well as the kitchen. Currently, they are remodeling our master shower with man-made marble and we love it. Their show room is at 8590 E. CR 466 in the Santa Fe plaza. phone is 352-350-6284. We checked with Seniors vs Crime and they stated they've never had a complaint on this company. Their installers are gentlemen and hard working, and prices reasonable.
