Default Pergola or screen room

I want to add a pergola to my patio in the back of my house and would like to know if anyone else can reccomend someone and give me an idea of cost. I have not ruled out a screenroom either but need reccomendations if possible. Thanks in advance..

Love the look of pergolas, but if you don't have either an enclosed or screened lanai Iwould probably go for the lanai.

The screen keeps out the mosquitos, flies, and other wildlife. I'd opt for that.

I can't remember where but I recall an advertisement for a screened pergola. This was not a portable setup from HD or Lowes but a permanent solution. It seemed like a perfect solution for FL. Maybe Magellan or Pergola King might have been the advertiser. It could have been in the magazine Clips.

Jimbo, are you actually building a pergola or are you having you built for you? I am looking for a contractor to give me a price on one.

Pergola or screen room is a matter of personal choice. I had a pergola at another home and got very little use---like previous post said---bugs, weather, etc. Personally, my next move will be a heated and air cond. Florida room. But to each his own.
