I have a patio Door that sounds like a meat grinder when moved. The tracks are clean. I think the bearings on the rollers are shot.
Anybody have this work done or know of someone that can replace the rollers? |

Also, there are adjustments on these doors, it maybe possible that your have backed off, allowing the door base to come in contact with the bottom guide. On mime this is a Phillips screw on either edge of the door. These are hard to turn with weight on the wheels. If some one can tilt the door left or right as needed you should be able to adjust for more clearance.
Hope this helps.

After adjustments and lubricants no longer work, it just comes down to the rollers. We're all going to need them some day and am also curious who installs them here.

Replaced a couple on each of our sliding doors. First check U Tube, not much you can't learn from that site. The door has to be completely removed and laid out, then the frame on one side has to be removed to allow the sliding out of the rollers. You will know immediately if a roller is bad, there are probably a half dozen styles so after you have the bad one in hand take it to one of the major hardware stores for replacement. Good luck.
