Default Need a Lawn Mowing company

Before you give me your recommendations, I need a company that just MOWS grass, and will do it month to month without a yearly contract.

I am not interested in spending $100/ month for fertilization, weeding etc.

Just looking for someone to mow my grass for a few months.

Default Lawn Mowing

Please call TLC Lawn Care for a quote. We have used them for 6 years and are most satisfied with their service. Prompt, courteous, and reliable.
We have one of the best lawns in the neighborhood and many neighbors have gone with TLC because of it. I still pay per month and they have no problem with this.
Call Todd at 352-536-3484 and tell them that the Priami's referred you. you will get great service. My wife is very particular about the lawn.

You would do better I think by asking your close neighbors who they use. This has become a big place and it is better to have several customers close together for the lawn guy AND the client.

Fifty dollars a month for year 'round service to just mow is about right, maybe a little high for an average designer lot.

Thanks Primo, but I think TLC stands for tri-county lawn care. I called them and they said they do not do month to month and I need to sign up for full service for a full year. They were not interested in just cutting my grass for 3 months. A lot of these companies are getting greedy and want your money...not interested in helping. I do my own grass but am leaving for several months. Can't find anyone who wants to help me for a few months.

I think TLC is Tri-County but not sure.

I have talked to two of my neighbors' lawn cutting services and none of them are willing to cut my grass for 3 months. They want a full year contract for full service. A lot of these companies are getting quite greedy and not interested in doing small jobs.
I do the work myself and just need someone to cut for 3 months...hence the post.

Thanks anyway!

Default Jen's Precision Lawns

For any viewers, do not use Jen's Preceision Lawns. Young couple, very nice, with good intentions that started growing with no good business plan to grow. Now it's all shortcuts, no communication, always running way behind, and just terrible looking lawns. Sad, but must warn all not to invest their money on this company bound for failure. Seen too many companies here start growing with no good business plan for managing the growth. Then the cash flow looks nice but they don't want to invest in the required labor to properly support the growth. The result is diminished quality, no time for QA or customer relations, and an inability to Provide services in a timely manner.

Default lawn mowere needed

I'm looking for reccomendations also. Even though I need people year round. I had hoped for more feedback from TOTV, but it hasn't happened yet.
I got one promising lead from Bartle:
"Found the perfect push mower guy... Previous mowers would come with riding mowers and ruin yard but discovered Mr. Martinez at a neighbors
yard and we are thrilled.... We have a large corner lot and previously charged $65 for push mowing but Mr. Martinez works circles around ALL others for $55.. If you have a small yard I'm sure he would charge MUCH less than ours...Please tell him that Bartle recommended him. His phone is
352-396-2838. Request walk mower (although, only found walk mowers in his truck) "
another from Poinciana forum: Laster lawn care did come and give me an estimate 352-245-7336

Still hoping other neighbors from TOTV will give us some referalls
