Default Interior Designer Recommendations

Looking for an affordable interior designer to help put the finishing touches on our newly constructed home south of 44. We have a few furniture pieces, but looking for help to pull it all together with additional furniture, accessories, lighting, area rugs, crown molding and window blinds. Personal recommendations from your experience please. Not interested in using the designers who work at the local furniture stores and not interested in a designer who selects high end pieces.

Years ago, when our house was new, we met with Ruth Dyer, who at the time was writing and still writes a decorating column for the "Daily Sun Home & Garden" section. I think her ideas show creativity, without being extravagant.

I know so many not professional people who have made their homes here spectacularly beautiful in many different ways. Some Coastal, some traditional, some contemporary, some whimsical. We have a lot of gifted folks who, have done JUST the right thing with color choice and placement and use of not expensive accessories. Our first home here was Coastal and this one is formal traditional because we brought it with. A poster named Lary B. whose wife is my friend sometimes consults. She has her home in a beachy nautical theme. She and my daughter are the best decorators I have ever met and neither do it for a living and my daughter is in London...lol.

I highly recommend Susan Corsten. She is extremely talented and is happy to work within your budget. If you’re interested, I’m happy to share pictures of our home and tell you more.
