Default Home Window Tinting

I need a recommendation for a company that does window tinting for house windows. I'd like to know who to stay away from if you have had a bad experience. Thanking you in advance.

I posted this question in the "Contractors and Services" forum but have not had any responses. I thought I'd put the question in the general discussion forum because it seems there is more activity here.

Solar Guys, can this film be applied to the glass block window in a bathroom?

Thanks for your interest!

Typically, architectural or decorative glass, such as glass block or leaded (stained) glass is not compatible with window films, both because of the texture of the foundation glass and because of the way window film heat rejecting technology works. Huper Optik window films, the only manufacturer of 100% dye free residential window films for their entire residential line, has spent countless hours and thousands of dollars doing the appropriate testing for glass-to-film compatibility for both the U.S. and the European market. So while not all types of glass are compatible with window film, you can be sure that any films recommended by the Solar Guys and Huper Optik are completely safe for your glass. We are not your “mom and pop” window tint chop-shops that line the highway. When you choose The Solar Guys, you are in the hands of the window film experts!
