OP, I have to ask, are you talking about a floating floor, or a roll vinyl floor, makes a big difference. Also, there are some concerns if you are installing OVER the tile, especially in the kitchen. I think we need more details.

Ok here are the details. Taking up carpet and want to put down vinyl plank tiles. Leaving bathrooms which are ceramic alone. It is a floating floor

Keith Stahl @ 352-460-2683 has installed Vinyl planks, laminate and ceramic tile for me and has always done an excellent job. Great quality, hard worker, listens to what your needs are and he is very price competitive. I inspected a job he did at another home before I hired him and I knew that was my guy.

I am just about finished with my installation of vinyl plank floors in my living room dining room and kitchen, I’ve always been a DIY guy. It was actually a pretty simple process. There’s plenty of installers out there but I’d definitely check them out before hiring them.

I agree with above, I helped a neighbor, and have done 3 or 4 floors back up North, it is a relatively easy DIY project, especially if the gap in the existing floor molding is high enough for the new floor, this was the case at the neighbors.
Make sure you call seniors against crime before hiring any contractor, and payment at the end of the project.
