Default Front door screen enclosures

I am interested in getting our front entry way enclosed. Not a screen door, but a proper screened in area like a small lanai. If you have had this done, which company did you use. I have contacted Whites Aluminum and T&D. Tey are very backed up. T&D will not come out for a month. Are there others out there? And what is a ball park cost for this. I understand it depends on the model of the home, but I am just looking for a range. It may not be in our budget and not worth my time to pursue. If you do not feel comfortable talking about cost on the forum send me a email. Thanks

We had White Alum do ours WITH our rear lanai.
The front area is about 8 x 16 all screen accross the front.
To give you a price would be difficult because it was part of a big package which included a 7 x 21 rear lanai & double garage door sliders.
We actually use the front more that the rear to sit out.
To GUESS a cost I would estimate about 500-1000.
White did an EXCELLENT job and even moved the screen door from the house to the screened area entry way.
Hope that helps a little

Had this exact project done about 2 months ago. After careful research and with the help of TOTV bloggers, I wound up using Quality Screen & Aluminum. They did a terrifc job and the contact person (Blake Keedy) is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. His number is 352/326-9090. We have a small (approx 12' x 10' entrance way and the cost complete (with inspection fees) was $1000. Hope this helps.

Thank you, at least it gives me some idea of the cost. Anyone else have it done and can supply the contractors name? I will be sure and contact these two that you have given me.

Has anyone had any recent experience with this type of front entrance installations?

Had D and D do ours and it took over 2 months with one excuse after another. I do not recommend them.

I personally would have no problem waiting a month for T&D to come out. We had them do ours last November and feel it would have been worth waiting if we had to. It took about a week to do from start to finish, but the only reason for the week is that our installer got sick and things got delayed. Actual work time was about 2-3 days.

The amount we paid for our Gardenia enclosure to be installed was $1156.25, and that included a custom colorized sailboat on the screen door.

Also, it was mentioned about having a means of getting a power cord out through the enclosure. That's a good idea that we didn't think of, but if you do that make sure that it's done in a method where there is no opening when not being used to keep the little buggers out.
