I am looking for a new hairdresser and would like a recommendation on who to use at Cal's in Colony Plaza.

Cal's is a barbershop. They don't have hairdressers. If you need a cut, great place

Not sure that Sharon is taking any new customers....last I'd heard she was not. She also prefers men as she's a barber and not a hairdresser though some of the women there are. You will only get a haircut however. "IF" you want a hairdresser with Cal's, who does more than cut hair you'll need to go to the one in Spanish Springs.

Vanessa is wonderful. Quite a few of the woman use her. No color, just cut. Not only barbers, hairdressers too.

I went to Cals 3 times and found the person I was really comfortable with. She had cut my hair beforehand and went to her again. This time she did not listen to what I wanted and when I said Yes I wanted it shorter like I had told her, she said no problem. Then I asume was the manager talked to her, could not hear what was said and thats when she told me ok no more fooling around! I will never go back there again! Its all about the $$$$,it was close to closing time and I guess they could of got another $$. Chop Chop

Another satisfied (male) customer with Vanessa! She was the first to cut my hair since we bought here in TV. I've used 3 others since in LSL & Colony Cals, but Vanessa to me was the best of them and I'll have her doing my cutting whenever I can.

I have been satisfied in the past with Charlie. I call him Charlie the talking barber, because he talks non-stop, but is friendly and does a good job.
