We had both kitchen & bathroom cabinets refaced in 2013 and used Precision Cabinets on Rolling Acres Drive for our Kitchen. The number for the shop is 753-8988. After signing the contract with them, one of my neighbors suggested I should call Mark Charles from Doors to Drawers (352-342-8510), and we used him for the bathrooms. The kitchen reface was quite expensive, and I never felt that the wood tone on the doors turned out to be the color that I expected, but it looks fine with our granite. I felt that Doors to Drawers was very reasonable for our bathroom refacing. My suggestion.....contact both of them & get estimates.

We had our 2011 CYV kitchen refaced in 2013. We like white cabinets and had them in our prior home. When we bought our CYV we looked for white cabinets but they didn't have any available and after a couple of years looking at these unstained maple cabinets we decided to have them changed. We considered painting, Investment Painters who painted our inside walls, can do those professional. However, we decided going with refacing.

Here's how our kitchen looked originally.

Here is how it looked afterwards.

Sorry we don't have better photos, we did have some but our webhosting service changed and we no longer have them online. We used Remington Kitchens of Leesburg. They have a large display ad in The Villages Newcomers Book that comes out once a year.

Basically they removed the old door fronts and drawer fronts, attach new ones using the same hardware. They also replace the handpulls. The base cabinets are refaced with white formica. We went with Thermafoil, which is a sort of melted plastic over wood. The Villages use the same type in their white kitchens. They also offered real painted wood doors and drawers. They charged $4800 for our kitchen. They finished the job in two days. We had to wait about 3 weeks for them to begin, at the time they had two refacing crews.

We have just completed the process of getting 3 quotes from kitchen remodel contractors and the one that came out way above the others are " The Cabinet Guys ".

We are having new Cabinets in the kitchen along with Quartz counter-tops and having the 2 bathrooms refaced along with matching counter-tops.

Here is the contact telephone 1-866-726-7645...and they do have a web site: The Cabinet Guys :: Home you will be impressed !!

Check with Artie Lanzer - Cabinet
STTAF Installations. 1 (352) 245-3280. He did a small job for us. I was impressed with his work.

Call Steve Gurly of Premier Building. He did our kitchen and both bathrooms. He is doing work now for 2 friends. We are all very happy. Our house is now our home! His number is 352 321 1489. He's a really nice guy and excellent craftsman.

Doc's re-faced our bathroom cabinets and not only saved us a lot of $$, but did it in a day minimizing the inconvenience of ripping out and re-installing new cabs. The results were amazing and makes everything look like a brand new home.

Seconds on Kurt. He is a very friendly and helpful salesman that is extraordinarily easy to work with. I definitely recommend him.

We have now had Doc's back here 4 times doing major home remodel jobs and we couldn't be happier with their integrity, quality, clear communications, fair prices, and doing what (and when) they say they will do. [:-)}
