Due to the many recommendations of AB Drywall, we contracted with them to remove our popcorn ceilings. What an improvement it made. They did a great job and absolutely no mess to the homeowner. It is a family business and they are very good to deal with. They currently charge $1.60 a sq. ft. We have a Gardenia model and it was just under $3,000. It was a 2 day process and we had to be out of the house for one night. I posted on another site and it created a lot of controversy between people with differing opinions of the popcorn ceilings. It is just a matter of personal preference, so I really don't want to see that repeated. The owner of AB Drywall is Alan Boatright and he can be reached at 352-266-8901. Did you follow up with paint or a do a knock-down pattern? Inquiring minds would like to know

They do the "knock down" ceiling and spray 2 coats of white paint. Really brightens the house also.
