download photos from a mac to an iphone. I was nicely surprised yesterday over at Verizon when they told me I could upgrade from my Iphone 4 to a 5 for $30...some promotion they are doing until the 31st if you qualify. Then you turn in your old phone and get a $200 credit. But I have to transfer all the photos. I have no idea how to.
Is there a mac user that could help me? I managed with the help of my under 30 daughter to load all the photos that are on the Iphone 4 onto my mac through itunes but now what? HELP! |

Does anyone know how to change the title of this post so I can alert Mac/Iphone users to it rather than just people who want to know "if they know how to"...It was a dumb title.

I do not own a Mac but just yesterday I transferred photos to my PC using an app called "Photo Transfer App". I believe it works on a MAC also.
OR you can look at these directions and use IPhoto: How to transfer photo/pictures from iPhone to Mac - Windows mac iPhone iPod software reviews - Software Wiki |

Assuming you have been syncing to iTunes all along, the first time you plug in your new iPhone to iTunes, it will ask if you want to setup as a new phone or recover from your previous phone. If you recover, your new phone will look exactly like your old one...apps, photos, music...everything! Good Luck! |

If you go to your settings icon on the Mac and click the iCloud button you can choose to click the "photos" icon. Then open the "options" balloon and click the box " My photo stream" that automatically downloads photos from Mac to IPhone. You will have to do basically the same on your iPhone by going to Settings then iCloud then Photostream and turn the box to "on". That's it, not hard and I didn't have to call my granddaughter either. Good luck.

I hired Tri-County Geek when I got my new ipad. Money well spent! All i had to do was hand him my old Ipad, he left with it...came back a couple hours later and boom, was able to put everything on the cloud and then onto the new ipad. I highly recommend him. His number is 639-1234

Doesn't Verizon do this for you when you upgrade to the new phone?
