Default New Club Announcement - The Villages Pinball Enthusiast Club

“Ever since I was a young boy, I played the silver ball”. And now coming soon is our very own Villages Pinball Enthusiasts Club! We are in the final process of approval with the Recreation Department and have an experienced team in place to get this club off the ground. The purpose of the club is to gather all of us fellow pinball enthusiasts for:

1. Monthly meetings which will include presentations on buying and selling, restoration
and repairs, pinball news, and of course playing techniques and strategies.
2. Field trips to local and not so local arcades, pinball shows and museums
3. Club Tournaments
4. Lobbying for more pinball machines in the Rec centers

Let’s hear from you. If you love playing pinball, have machines in your home already, or always dreamed of owning one, the Villages Pinball Club is the place to be. Don’t TILT, contact us at villagespinballclub@gmail.com, follow us on our Facebook page The Villages Pinball Club and we will keep you posted on when and where our first meeting will take place.

I have an Elton John, Capt. Fantastic machine that needs restoration. My kids played that for many, many hours. 1 day it will be restored.

Thumbs up

Hello! I am interested in the club . I don't currently have a machine.

I have a few of questions regarding machines:

1) I assume that most people own machines have them set up in their garage (typical "man cave" area). Many days of the year we are at or near 100% humidity, not the best for mechanical things. Do they hold up to the humidity that we have here in Florida??

2) Are there ANY pinball machines in the Recreation Centers of The Villages? If so, where can I find these?

3) What are the general thoughts of the Virtual Pinball machines? These have the huge upside of having thousands of tables all wrapped into one full size machine. Granted, they are virtual, but the aspects (feel, sound and function) of these amazing! What does the club think about those? What if The Villages were to install these machines??

Thanks for (re)starting this topic as I did see it a few years ago.

I’m also interested.

Does anybody know if PlayStation has a pinball machine game? (I guess I’ll do a search. 🤓)
