The next 'Club E Dance Live!' event will be Saturday, June 15, 6:30 - 8:50 PM, at Lake Miona Recreation Center (1526 Buena Vista Blvd, The Villages; Lake Miona's ph no. is 352-430-2950). 'Hot Fun (but in air-conditioning) in the Summertime' with all-time summer music classics, from Sly and the Family Stones, and Martha and the Vandellas and mor, to new 'to-become' summer classics from Dua Lipa, Hozier, and other current stars! (Have requests? See 'Requests' section below). See them all on Official Music Videos! Together, let's stay current on pop music hits!!

Club 'E' dances are always the third Saturday of each month*; same time - and same place. (We have to end at 8:50 PM due to Lake Miona rec center's schedule). Name tags info below. Whether you want to dance, or want to just hang out with your friends - or with new friends you will meet - join us!

The dress for Club 'E' dances is 'dressy casual' - or flashy nightclub fashion! By this, we envision, for men, slacks and a collared shirt, and, for women, a 'dressy casual' dress or top, with a skirt or slacks. Some club members have suggested that we specify this more clearly.

Club 'E' is the only club that has ever been established in The Villages to offer newly released (from 2020 until now), danceable, current pop music hits, along with some hip hop (but not 'rap' music), EDM (electronic dance music), and classic / iconic pop dance hits from the past few decades, including showing music videos of all of the songs on a big screen; for dancing - freestyle or partner dancing -- or just as a fun place to socialize with your friends and/or significant other in a nightclub-type setting, with dance club-style lighting. Current pop music hits will always be the primary music of the Club, so that we can enjoy, and stay knowledgeable about, new music, while enjoying the other music styles mentioned above! (We, too, love oldies - and we do play a few of them - but there are lots of other places in T.V. to hear those!!) There may also be some other special 'theme' dances in the months ahead.'

Club 'E' is for couples and singles. Both freestyle and partner dancing is welcome! There will be some tables labeled 'SINGLES'; as this has been requested by some of the club's members. These tables are for singles who prefer to sit with other singles. Of course, everyone can sit wherever they like!

Song requests must be received by TWO days PRIOR to each dance. (See 'SONG REQUESTS' section below)

Let us know any music -- or other -- suggestions; your ideas are always welcome! We thank those of you who have shared your ideas and knowledge! We want Club 'E' to offer modern, current music, in a setting, that you love!

All seats, except those for who make reservations, are first come, first served. There will probably be some 'extra' chairs that are not at tables.

Please, if possible, have exact the change ($4 per person) for your number who are entering together.

BYOB and snacks; but bear in mind, as stated above - you may be at chairs that are not at tables, so plan accordingly; and beverages/snacks may be consumed only at the chairs/tables. NO beverages nor food may be taken out on the dance floor; as this causes a fall risk to others, due to possible spills.

Club 'E' Dance Live! is an official Villages Residents' Lifestyle Club; so, a valid Villages ID or guest pass is required for entry to the dances. This club is for adults only.

*(There is no Club E dance in December, each year, because the room at Lake Miona was already reserved for an annual holiday event on the 3rd Saturday of each December prior to Club 'E' being founded).

SONG REQUESTS: Please feel free to email us ( freeda@lifeboost.com ) any song requests (name of song and the artist) at least TWO days before each dance**, and we will try to include your request in the upcoming dance, as long as they are current pop, hip-hop, classic pop dance, or EDM hit songs. As time goes on, there will be more and more newly released hit songs, so we have to keep alot of our playlist time available for those! We are sticking to 'hits' - I-tunes, Spotify, Billboard, Youtube, etc, are sites that can guide us, and you, about this. We regularly monitor what songs have been newly released, are rising in the charts, etc., to be able to play current hits for you.

**(This is because we use a pre-planned continuous playlist for each dance, so that the maximum number of songs can be played with as minimal interruptions as possible; it will not be possible to add a song to the playlist, or move a song up or down within the playlist on the night of the dance, as this would necessitate an interruption in the music; and we try to minimize interruptions in the music.
