Lyric Hearing Aids

Does anyone on TOTV have personal experience with wearing the Lyric hearing aid? If so, does it really sound more "natural" than other hearing devices?

hearing aids are like automobiles. They ALL DO THE SAME thing.
Some better than others. Many source most of their components from the same manufacturere.

Clarity is a function of at the very least two things. One the instrment itself. Secondly the individual who wears the new device. What will be golden for one person may well not be for another with several degrees of better or worse.
The biggest variable being each individual ear and what ails it.

Don't be wooed by the latest advertisement because they will all make the same claims at one time or another.

Be sure to go to a supplier that carries more than just one brand. If you don't their objective is to SELL you their product. If they carry the top 6 or so brands and allow one to try, for free, each and every one until the right one rings the bell. Under this method these folks are more interested in selling you something that works best for you individual ailment.

Also be sure to work only with those who will allow a specified period of time to allow one to bring the product back.

And select a supplier that will provide you , forever check ups and cleaning of the hearing aids....the credible, multi manufacturer suppliers all do this.

Today most hearing aids are digital. Most have multiple channels allowing for finer tuning of variables to improve hearing. The more channels the more able to improve the sound quality.

Don't be sold on the first ones you try. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU BUY.

There are severla very good, multiple manufacturer providers in and around TV. There are also very many single instrument sellers.

PS.......They all play the hundreds and thousands of dollars of discount game....and when you remove the discounts they all miraculously fall in the same pricing levels.....hmmmmnnnnnn!!!
