We are looking to buy and have installed a full view storm door that has a section that drops down to a screen to get a breeze. We are looking for decent quality that is well insulated so we can keep the solid front door open to allow light during the day. Lowes has been mentioned for doors...how's their quality?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

We ordered a storm door from Lowes with the drop window. It's a Larson Tradwinds and we love it. The quality I great and we had Tim the Tool Man install it. We had to order the door because we wanted a color they didn't have in stock and it took about 3 weeks to come in. We are very happy with it.

We love our Larson storm door purchased from Lowes. We bought the better quality door with the hidden screen, which I would recommend. Stay away from the low price storm door. You really do get what you pay for. When we bought ours, Lowes' installation cost was $99.00. Worth every penny.

We got the storm door from Lowes with the hidden screen and are delighted with it as we keep our front door open durning the day and can still either get a breeze if there is one and more important we can get the light. Good value and good door.

We got our door at Home Depot and had Tim the Tool Man install it. It is and Anderson with the screen that comes down and are very happy with it.
