LIVELY senior Jitterbug phone rating

Looking for people who have used or are using the Jitterbug Lively 2 phone.
It's fliptop and simple for seniors ... or others... who don't want STUFF on their phones.
MY question is ... IF you use one, is there good reception in the area... And have
you travelled with it and still found good reception.???

While at Best Buy awhile back, customer came in with issues on their jitterbug. Informed it’s a throwaway phone, buy a new one…

It sounds insulting to market a phone for "seniors". Most seniors I know are very capable of using a regular phone.

It uses VERIZON service under GREATCALL MVNO so the coverage for the most part would be excellent. My late 93yr old father with very arthritic hands and poor vision used one and it was great for him. Large fonts, large "screen buttons" easy access to emergency calling (which he used once). All in all it is a phone designed for seniors or those with disabilities. Basically a low end Android phone that does what it is suppsoed to do with a user interfact very simplistic without all the tiny icons of things MOST people buying this type of device would never need. Giving him a "real" Android phone with the tiny fonts and tiny icons would have been unuseable.

His version was 5 or 6 years old when I last saw it before he passed so not sure what the "latest" version looks like assuming they are still making it but I'm sure it's similar. I definately would NOT buy a USED one.

This phone is not insulting saying Senior as many seniors are not capable of using
a regular smartphone with all the choices. When you have a friend with beginning dementia or with arthritic hands , you will understand.

Thank you for this opinion . I am wondering especially if Lively works well IN The Villages. Sometimes less expensive phones have good reception in certain areas only.
