We served 10 pizzas to 33 people using 80 slices of pizza. At the end of the night there were only 7 slices left. Everyone said it was the best pizza they had had. It's near Publix in the Trailwinds Shopping Center. Enjoy:MOJE_whot:

Their "cheeseybread" is to die for. The Pizza .... meh. Good but not much better than Dominos but like Dominoes there are always discount coupons to be found.

Cheeseybread hint: cover it in the sauce they give you, add some cheese, stick it in the toaster oven and you have a half-price Pizza that's (IMO) even better than their pizza! :D :D

Kinda like making lemonade at a restaurant for free with water, sugar and a lemon! That's why they hide the sugar and imitation sweetener from seniors!

We tried them tonight. They were very generous with the toppings, cheese & crust were also good, but we didn't like the sauce. It was too acidy. The pie did remind me of a New England style, from when I was a kid.

I rarely eat pizza for health reasons, but when I do it is Marcos. By far the best of the chains.

Sorry to say sorry to say there is no good villages pizza. Can't begin to compare to NY metro area. Either thin crust or thick Sicilian square style .

Since there is no NY city water nearby, yes NYPD is great, the water certainly adds a lot of flavor and the type of flour (not all flour is the same) used in NY is different.

Free food is always said to be "great". I do Parties for clubs I belong to, ordering food from various places. Not only does it always "disappear", but I'm always told how good it was, so don't put too much stock in what people told you, they were being nice.

I’ve tried them twice and both times the order was screwed up. The second time I had to wait 35 minutes to get the correct pies. Not impressed

You have not had pizza unless you has Chicago style thin crust. There is a place in Leesburg called Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Tap Room. They have real Chicago Hot Dogs too. All the fixings, except the produce, come from Chicago. Give it a try!!

The pizza that people like is what they grew up eating. I am from Jersey just outside of NYC. I went to college in Illinois and hated the pizza. There were a lot of us from the same area in my dorm and none of us liked the pizza especially cut in squares.

I was born and raised in Jersey City, Neapolitan area. Moved east to NyC then Long Island. Pizza 🍕 for some, is regional. New York is where to get the best pizza. Thin crust, good marinara, shredded mozzarella, and of course, slightly well done. IMO, NYPD on 466 is the closest We tried and are fans. Still waiting for something better.

This IS an example of a thread that affects ONLY a SMALL portion of the people on this forum. It applies to ONLY people living in the southern area. And only to people that like pizza. That is something that 90% of forum people are NOT interested in. And the subject is very mundane........I like this restaurant ........do you like this restaurant..........bottom line - who cares? Very boring!!!!!!!!

Unless you've got money to burn and are bored. You'll need something to enhance the flavor to definitely get their free crust flavor. Plain is basically horrible.

You apparently don't have much to do if you read far enough in here to complain about it being "boring"! You should perhaps get a hobby to enjoy. Good luck with that.

Pizza has been a tough one for us for years down here having tried Pizza in NYC, NJ and PA (all equally as amazing) but now, surprisingly we tried a place called Flippers adjacent to the new hotel and medical facility in the strip mall in Brownwood and it was amazingly good. The small individual with either regular or thin crust does the trick. They also use fresh vegetables which is a must! No guarantee you won't gain weight however!

can we agree that this should be the LAST 'PIZZA' Thread for a week or so??? stale yada and repetitive - like many topics on ToTV. I know, 'don't read them then'... just sayin'..

I am from NY. NYPD pizza was OK for a while until they cheated on me with recycled Mushroom pizza. Never again.

Never had pizza outside of the Chicago area. If you went to college in western or southern Illinois the pizza may be different. One thing I can say is that there is no good pizza in Florida.

People can always ignore posts they don't like, as no one is forcing them to click on any post. SMH!

Most people get their pizza from Papa Johns, Pizza Hut or Domino's when they do takeout. Of course there will always be a more expensive pizza that tastes better. But those who prefer the chains for whatever reason may not know about Marcos.

Most threads I find boring and don't bother reading past the first message. Doesn't mean it is not interesting or useful to someone else. Kind of silly to complain about them.

Sorry strongly disagree.

Giovanni or Flippers or Bravo much better.

Ask 100 people their favorite will get 101 opinions.

That place does not real Chicago anything. The Italian beef sucked. Had better food in TV.
