Question Newfoundland Dogs in FLorida

I have a question: We have 2 newfoundland dogs and live in Ohio. We are moving in 3 weeks to Grand Island Florida and want to know if anyone on here has these type of dogs and if so Do you shave them for the summer there? We will have A/C and everything, but do you think we need to shave them or will they adapt? I have heard of shaving there bellies so when laying on tile it is cooler for them and to always run a fan for them too. Would love to hear your input?????
