Default Yamaha golf cart won’t start

I got in to my 2020 Yamaha gas golf cart today and it won’t start

I turn the key on, and get power to the gauge (88, this seems low)

When I press on the accelerator, the light goes off, it makes a little noise and no power.

Any suggestions are appreciated

That sounds like a dead (low) battery. Try putting it on a charger for 30 minutes and see if that makes a difference.

One thing to check: raise the seat and make sure the narrow starter belt has not come off. If the belt was off then the starter motor would run but it would not turn the engine and the cart would not move. This is not likely the problem but is easy enough to check.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.

Battery is dead, I just replaced mine after I got stranded on a golf course.
