Default Pedal Extenders For Golf Cart

My wife is 5'0", and can reach the pedals of our Club Car DS, but she has to scootch all the way forward in the seat to do so.

I'd like to make her more comfortable in the cart, and get her some pedal extenders. It would be nice if they were easily removable so I could drive the cart occasionally, but not really necessary as I have a Yamaha that we can take if we want to go somewhere together.

Any recommendations or warnings as I consider products to accomplish this?

10” piece of 2x4 for the gas pedal. Easy peasy.

There have been several previous threads about this, as I recall there is a vendor (market nights or market of Marion) that sells these. The other suggestion was to add an additional seat back so she would sit farther forward. You could try a search for pedal extenders.

Install wood blocks on the bottom of here favorite shoes… The shoes with the red soles seem popular

My wife has the same problem (too short on one end).

We solved the problem by buying a thick cushion which she has behind her back when driving. Simple, effective and no added "hardware" on or near the pedals where they could conceivably be a safety issue.

Yep. We have those right now. A total of 3 different cushions, which do have the benefit of not being in my way when I want to drive the cart.

I'll mention to her the idea of blocks on the bottom of her shoes which would have the extra benefit of just generally making her taller, which she's always desired.

Have gas pedal extender from 2016 Yamaha. Also back cushion which hooks on back of seat.

Village Golf car store sells one made for this purpose easy on and off and safe with no slipping when driving. I think $50. You may be able to get cheaper one on Amazon.

I'm 5 foot tall (female) and have the same problem. I went to Lowe's and they cut a 2x3 to the right length for gas pedal. I bought a can of black spray paint and some zip ties and was all set to go. You could use velcro strips if you want to remove it. I wasn't charged for the wood because it came from a piece of scrap 2x3.

I used a 2x4 with velcro. One piece on the pedal the other on the wood, that way I can use the cart when does not.

I am also 5’. I purchased the Back Buddy from the golf cart store. It hooks onto the seat and pushes my body forward to reach the pedal. If not needed it can be turned backwards and flip over the seat. Works great
