Default Lemon Pledge on Golf Cart Windshield?

Someone told me that the best way to clean your golf cart windshield is to use Lemon Pledge spray product. Does this really work?

Default Lemon Pledge on Golf Cart Windshield?

I've heard any window cleaner without ammonia or alcohol is good.

I have used Lemon Pledge spray on all of my aircraft acrylic plastic windows for over 40 years. A good friend of mine who worked for GM making plastic parts was in agreement with my using Lemon Pledge spray for this purpose.

Does Lemon Pledge eliminate scratches as do the those cleaners recommended for golf carts?

Cool

Pledge does not eliminate the scratches, but using it will clean the windshield and cause any further scratching.

I've used Pledge, since day one on both my carts and neither windshield is scratched.

It works good as a cleaner

Default pledge on golf cart windshield

Bought my cart a few weeks ago at The Villages Golf Carts, salesman repeated over and over to use furniture polish (Lemon Pledge as an example) as a cleaner and wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth . It works great and also acts like Rainx when it rains. He also iterated "Do not use paper towels to dry they will lightly scratch the plastic windshield". He should know he's in the business !

Default Lemon Pledge

We bought our cart about 8 months ago at Carts and Clubs and were also told to use Lemon Pledge on the windshield and the cart itself. We were also told never to use paper towels and to use a micro fiber cloth. We have used the Pledge from the beginning and the cart looks great and stays very shiny.

While talking about keeping your cart like new, chap stick works great on your enclosure snaps. Just a very small amount on the male end will make the release work easy. This will save you from replacing snaps in the future.
