Default Golf cart adjustable steering column

Looking to purchase a new golf cart. Can anyone recommend a golf cart that comes standard with an adjustable steering column. So far the only one I've found is a evolution D-5. It seems strange that all golf carts don't have adjustable columns or shorter shafts.

Any help would be appreciated. Since currently my only choices are the D-5 or a starvation diet. lol

Btw: I've reached out to several modification places and nobody shows any interest cutting and rewelding the column.

I believe that some of the online golf cart carry adjustable steering columns, and I have seen these on several golf carts, so what you are looking for is available. I believe your major problem will be getting someone to install. I have no idea if these are considered DIY or require professional installation. I MIGHT consider a DIY project, but I would really need to see what I was getting into.
IMHO, I would search the internet for golf cart accessories, find a couple of stores that sell these and call to find out what is involved. I have done this exact work (replaced steering column) in my '66 mustang, but never in a golf cart, so I am not familiar with the mounting of the steering column. The kits should have all of these problems solved and you will "just" need some one with the mechanical ability to remove the old and install the new one.
Of course, your other option would be to start calling around to the local (and outside the bubble) golf cart stores and see if they have any with this option and trade to buy a new cart.

I entered the search string "golf cart tilt steering column" and found a few possibilities, but since i have NO idea of your cart that is as far as I could go.

Just bought an Evolution D-5. Not because of the tilt steering, although it is excellent. The whole cart is excellent. Talk to Ray at Hidden Creek Golf Carts. They run about 10 grand less than the star carts sold by TV golf carts, and are just as good.

I close on my new house in the TV on the 12th so i definitely appreciate the direction and will be following up with your permission.

PS hope you still have the 66 mustang, something to be said about the old Detroit muscle cars.

Yes, still have the '66 (with twice the original horsepower!!), and I will be interested in how the golf cart project works out.

There is a company named IDIDIT that make tilt steering columns for golf carts which are the ones used in Streetrod golf carts and custom cars and trucks and come in different links. They are a little over $700.00

Default Charter Research

I think they are still taking participants for the evaluation of weight reduction drugs.
I just finished a year in the Alzheimers study.
Just a suggestion based on the conversation.
