Default golf car tires that bounce

Just bought a used Tomberlin from Frank at Sta-Rite. After 3 sets of tires, the ride is still much too bumpy. Doesn't matter what speed you go, the ride is the same. Had a Club Car that was 10 years old and it rode great. What can I do?

I had a similar problem but learned that it was due to not using my cart much. The tires would go out of round because the part that touched the ground would get a little flat from all the weight sitting on them for weeks at a time. However, after driving on them for enough time to allow them to regain their shape, would solve the problem.

We have the same problem with Dad's EZGO cart. The dealer says it is because all they can get is junk tires from China. I have the same tires on my Yamaha and they are fine. Dad's tires did have 40 lbs. of air! I run 23-25 lbs. in mine. I lowered the pressure to 32 lbs. and it is a little better. It could have something to do with the rims, mine are different than Dad's.

The less expensive bias ply tire tend to flatten out when sitting for an extended period
You'll notice bouncing but should lessen after a mile or so
Steel belted that cost 3 times more money hold there shape .
