I just purchased a crown golf cart. The ride is bouncy at best. Does anyone have one with the same issue. I was wondering if there is something wrong with it, or is this normal? Thanks

Check your tire pressure, if it is too high that could produce a bouncy ride. Now I have no idea of the correct tire pressure for this cart, it should be in the owner's manual, for Yamahas it is 22 PSI.

What size are your tires? My cart was really bouncy with 8" tires but much better when I replaced them with 10" tires. The bigger the diameter tire, the better the ride. It's hard to give an answer without more info. Is the cart used or new? If used, how old is it? What size are the tires?

I am assuming you bought used? Regardless, call the local Crown dealer on Route 44 and ask them what they recommend. Be prepared with the tire size when you call.

I forgot to mention (or ask) if this was setup for 4 passengers, if so it probably has a heavy-duty suspension. We have a Yamaha that was modified for 4 passengers, and this required changing the suspension to heavy duty. The result is the cart rides really nice with 4 people and harsh with 1 or 2 passengers. I am thinking of investigating the possibility of air shocks that could be adjusted for actual load.

It was the tire pressure. It was way to high

I looked at these carts. They do appear to have a beefier/heavier suspension system than my 2020 Yamaha

The taller sidewall of a tire helps dampen shock loads. The low profile tires look cool but the ride will suffer.
Also, tire pressure...keep it on the low side.
