Default Adjustable seat for golf cart?

In another thread the phrase "adjustable seat" was used. Do they actually make golf carts with adjustable seats?? Last weekend I was shopping for carts in the villages, and sat in a few. They all seemed far back for me. I am short and already have a bad back. Does anyone know about this possibility for carts?
We 're leaning towards electric right now.

They are bucket seats and cost about $1,695

We found the non adjustable bucket/ bench seats for $1,495 work fine for my 5'2" wife so that doesn't have to sit on the edge of the standard seat to drive.

We bought a Columbia ParCar in April. The cart has bucket seats which are adjustable. I could not reach the pedals on most carts. We also opted for the tilt wheel which makes it even easier to drive . This cart has been perfect for me. If interested please PM me and I will give you the company and salesman info. Hope you find what you are looking for!

You can buy aftermarket seats which r adjustable and much more comfortable than the stock seats. They also come with and without armrests. Cost is about $1500.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that as an option.

We went with a Carts and Clubs cart with a removable gas pedal extender. I am 5' and can drive with a normal seat, no pillow and sitting all the way back. It takes two seconds to put the extender on or take it off. Costs about $45.00. MUCH cheaper than a new seat. Just saying. Good luck.

Default Short Legs

I am 4'11" and have been since I was 12 years old. I drive a Star cart (electric) with a standard bench seat and have no problem reaching the pedals or the cup holders. Being vertically challenged can be a pain at times but not in this instance.

Default There are adjustable seats

We ordered a golf cart from Grandma and Grampas Golf Carts yesterday and got adjustable seats put in as I am shorter too. The back also adjusts on them just like a car seat. They are very comfortable and very pricey. If you don't want to spend the money on an adjustable seat, you can have a back "booster" either made or they can order one. I have a "booster" in the cart I have now.

I have the back booster too and it works fine. I negotiated for that when we bought the cart.

Ultimate Luxury Bench seat with center armrest or Ultimate Sport adjustable Sport Bucket seats???

I sat in both and ordered the Luxury bench so 3 could sit relatively comfortable.

Now I am having second thoughts.

My cart will be ready in October when we get back so I prob. could still change

The Sport seats seem to have too much side bolster (for a golf cart) to sit 3 but look nicer and have spings and foam and not just foam.

Thoughts from those that have either.

I simply added a back rest or booster from Yamaha Carts in TV. It hooks over the back rest and moves you up about 3 or 4". That way the pedals are much easier to reach.

Where do you get a back rest?
