You can check on Florida's fishing laws on the Internet. They may be so young that they don't need licenses. You may be so old that you don't need a license. Look it up.
I have seen a lot of fishing action at the pond at the roundabout at the Savannah Center. It is actually two connected ponds. Kids fish in the small pond with bread on a hook and catch a small fish. They then move to the big pond using the small fish for bait, and sometimes get a good sized bass.

You will, of course, get them Villages visitor's ID cards so they can play games at the recreation centers.
